Welcome to "History, Healing and Hope." Our organization labors to honestly examine and clarify our nation’s history, to grieve the profound and enduring losses suffered by hundreds of thousands of people, North and South, enslaved and free, and to celebrate and build upon the progress toward reconciliation and healing made thus far. We work to promote the healing of all persons who continue to grieve their losses, so we may live our lives as Virginians and Americans, united in a healthy and wholesome future.
